Kin Means N o t h i n g
Bright yet deep amber orbs gazed down upon the land he had recently called his own. he wind buffeted his fur coming from behind him to push its way off the cliff washing over the valley below. Snow was common here and mingled with the brute's white coat. One marking stood out though. A crimson splash of color hung over and around his right eye in the shape of a flame.
Chest expanded as he inhaled the crisp cold air. Slowly he let it out chest deflating. His eyes were emotionless as he held them in the same place gazing out into nothing. The brute just sat there on the mountain alone, isolated from everything. A golden eagle soared above watching the brute intently as if studying him. He had often seen a golden eagle yet this one seemed to be following him.
All kin of his had died. Everything he had known had been taken away yet it didn't disturb him. He always felt different. Ever since he had been chased out of the dark pack and into the light he was hated and dispised. He did meet a nice wolf there who was like a brother to him. His name was Deiki. Deiki taught him everything giving him one sole purpose. To fight against those who oppose him, to protect what he cares for, and to know that in the cruel world they were living in kin means nothing.
"Kin means nothing."
Voice was cold and a mere monotone in sound. It was deep and commanding though like music to the ears. If only he used it more often. The only time he really speaked was when he was by himself. Truly Kale was Forever Lost to the world of life and joy. He only lived in a world of death and deciet.
